People typically don’t realize they have a problem until it’s too late to do anything about it.

Whereas in the individual you often see this with health, in a nation you often see this with their security. Just like most people are not conscious about what they put in their bodies, Western Nations – for the most part – are not conscious about who they let into their country.

In everything self-help, people are constantly dissing fear: all the experts, gurus and consultants talk about “overcoming fear,” how “fear is an illusion,” the “10 steps to eliminate fear for good,” etc. etc. as if it’s productive-person’s enemy #1…

So just the other day it occurred to me that we almost never think about how FEAR CAN WORK IN OUR FAVOR…that there may be a few ways in which fear can actually make us MORE driven, ambitious, creative and efficient without us even being aware to the fact.
